EMI Shielding/Absorption & Heat Dissipation for Extrusion/Injection
These additives confer EMI shielding or absorption capabilities to plastics, minimizing electromagnetic interference in highly integrated devices such as smartphones and automotive electronics. Electromagnetic waves can cause performance degradation or failure in nearby devices. By incorporating EMI shielding/absorption additives, plastic substrates or housings can effectively block or absorb electromagnetic waves. Because absorbed electromagnetic waves convert to heat, these plastics must also possess heat dissipation properties to release the generated heat effectively.
